Frog Legs

Sol

I love it when Sol lays with her back legs sprawled out behind her. For an old gal, she is surprisingly flexible.

We refer to Mr.Skittles “Frog” as well.  I think it is too cute!

My Riley does this too and I love it as well.

Sol, it’s all that puggie yoga you are doing in your spare time that is keeping you so limber, isn’t it??  Pretty girl!

Our Charlie (black pug) lays the same way. My sister calls him a “frog in a pug’s body” or “froggy doggy”! Either name fits him well.

Beauty will get up in my-ooppps-I mean OUR chair, strecthes her hind legs out, gives a little kick and then settles-could our dear sweet puggies really be descended from FROGS?!!!

Both Tina and Hooie lay like this too!  Although, Hooie favors it more.  I call it chicken quarters:D

Magee & Dexter lay the same way.  However, Magee lay for long - he is full of energy.  Dexter you have to take a pulse some days! Love my boys!

Sol, cute as usual.  I only had one pug who ever did the frog position.  Romeo does not do it, but he sure can stretch himself out

It just makes me so happy to see how much care you take of all your kids. Can I come live with you too? wink

I remember the first time baby C.J. sprawled out like this.  I was hooked!

Sleighbelle lays like this too.  When I’m on the floor playing with her and a baby, she will “comando crawl” and push herself with her back legs out…I love that.  Cracks me up every time.

I’ve always called it “Pug Rug” when my puggies do this. I think because it makes them vaugely resemble a bear skin rug that way, you know? With the odd angle their back legs ae splayed. It’s SO cute, though! I just love it!

Sol is always so precious, even when it’s just a picture of her back end! smile  Cute little puggie butt.

My Marley will lay like this too and I love it!  Sleighbelle, great name for for the “comando crawl”, Marley does that too and I’ll have to start using that phrase.  Love all the puggies!

That picture could be my Ruby!  Except your carpet is way cleaner than mine wink

I like to think of them as chicken legs,or, specifically, little cornish game hen drumsticks - especially when Rocky, Adrian and Gulliver are standing on their hind legs.  Needless to say…I do not eat poultry!

My mom calls this pose “showing the gummy bears” because she calls their soft paw pads gummy bears, and i think it’s a pretty good description : )
