Flashback Friday

Sol, Luna, Henry and Benjamin

This picture was taken in August, 2009

I can't remember why the pugs were not allowed into the house when this picture was taken, but they sure are putting on a great show of pouting.

The thing that struck me the most about this photo is that Luna is right there with Solsey, doing exactly what Solsey was doing. Pictures like these remind me just how much Luna loved and idolized Sol. They were alpha female partners in crime. And Luna, who is a pretty independent thinker, was always up to do whatever Solsey was doing.

What a sweet memory.  I still think of that sweet soul, Solsey, and what a great little pug she was.

Solsey always put a smile upon our faces, and still continues to do so!  I love how Luna took her cue from her older sista and would mimic her!  smile

Hmm, don’t you just wonder what Benny was thinking as he observes the trio?  And how we love seeing pics with Solsey in them.  Sue VDB hit it in regard to Solsey, “a sweet little soul.”  I think Luna’s saying, “Have I got it right, Sol, have I got it right?”

Great flashback pic, Sol was such a trooper and never far from our thoughts. It looks like the gang is playing Simple Simon-you do what ever the leader does when they say simple simon do this and it looks like Sol & Luna got it but not Benny(?)or Henry(?)-can never tell the Bros apart! I know I say this about every post pretty much but I love love love this! That is exactly what Luna is saying Huckle! Have I got it right? I love to think about what the dogs must be thinking. Like, what is going through Luna’s mind. ‘I’m going to lay just like my big sis. I want to be just like her.’

Sue States~I always remember that Henry has the darker face and Benny is more round and a lighter fawn color. smile

Just wanted to mention that even though I don’t post a reply everyday, I’m still looking. My girls are both in school full time and I babysit a little 5 month old girl so I don’t have much time in the mornings anymore. Except for Fridays! I don’t babysit on Fridays and my girls are in school so it’s just Bella and I all day! I love it. smile
