Flashback
This week's flashback: Why Must You Eat Everything?
Benjamin jogged my memory about this post when he grabbed a mouthful of mulch before we headed out on our walk yesterday. Old habits die hard.

I just had a good laugh on the flash back funny wonder if all pugs are like that my first pug gwen when she was a puppy every time you would wal her she had to pick something up and chew or just carry it in her mouth I remember one time she had a cigerette butt in her mouth which I had to pry out of it now the one who is like that is my emma anything and every thing thank you for bringig fond memories back of my precious pug gwen
My Phoebe won’t come in the house unless she’s got something in her mouth: stick, rock, poop (ugh) paper, grass, etc. She’ll chew on a stick forever until it looks like toothpicks and she’s gnawing away..so funny
I probably have the pug that really does eat everything. I dropped a star-shaped diamond pendant on the floor when Sophie was about 6 months old. Before I could grab it she swallowed it. I had to, yes, check her output each time she went. About a week later and an hour before going to the vet to see about removal, she passed it. You would have thought I had won the lottery. We have to watch her constantly.
The funniest thing I ever pried out of Bennie’s mouth was a wee little chameleon. And when I opened Ben’s mouth, he ran right out and under the couch! I had no idea what was in there, so I was pretty surprised!
But I wish I’d find $5 bills in there!
They are natural born hoovers, for sure!!
Mr. Skittles like to pick up pieces of bark the fall off the sticks of wood in our wood box, and our daughters erasers!
Like Martha, I wish I could find $5 bills in there!!

Romeo just turned 11 and he still wants to eat almost everything he comes across. He is especially fond of paper…any kind of paper. He has a couple of disgusting eating habits that I won’t even talk about. He has, however, not tried to eat mulch.
Doing Now - I think the pugs are just excited to be with mommy and doing things together.
