When Benjamin and Henry were puppies, I worked really hard to get them to play fetch. Despite my efforts, neither one ever took to the game. Luna isn’t much of a fetcher either. I have always wanted a dog that was always up for a good game of fetch.

My two have differing fetch philosophies. Gizmo likes to fetch stuffed toys, and Kritter is absolutely NUTS for mini tennis balls
My pug likes to fetch her stuffed toy and then run around with it for me to chase and catch her. She knows she’s going to get a lot of kisses when I catch her.

Fetch is a funny thing. We take all three dogs outside and hit a tennis ball with a bat. All dogs go running after it. Only one dog brings it back. Not the pug. He just cannot get his mouth around the tennis ball.
