Deep Thoughts

Benjamin

Benny was perched up on the arm of the sofa the other day and he looked to be deep in thought.  Perhaps he was thinking about the best way to get the yummy peanut butter center out of the rawhide bone.  Or maybe he was thinking about how to outsmart his brother and actually catch him while playing chase.  In any case, his concentration was quickly broken as something in front of the house caught his eye.

Now if I could only find the way to get all the treats for myself, I would be one happy pug.

I think he looks like he’s enjoying a good view for the observation of his realm.

Benny is one hunky pug!  I love that look on his face.  Perhaps he was trying to figure out how to stop hunger for all his fellow pooches?  Starting with himself, of course!
I vote “Benny for President”.  Anyone want to join me?

“Now if I can get up on that chair and then on the counter top I can surely chew off the lid, then all the treats will me all mine! Wait, but where is Mom?”

That is such a serious look on his face:  he looks like he already IS president, with the weight of the country on his shoulders showing in those wrinkles.

I agree, Henry is a real hunk, but Benny is no slouch either.

Benny: hmmmm…now I know she made chicken last night…and there was something that smelled like it had cheese in it…yes..hmmm..ok she’s over there with that clicky thing on me…I’ll just pretend there is someone outside..the minute she looks away I’m making a break for the fridge door…

What a beautiful face you have mr. Benny!

I know why Benny is looking so serious in that first photo.  Notice how he is looking down?  That’s right!  His snack slipped off his perch and he’s trying to levitate it back up!  He doesn’t want to get down from his comfy spot, but then he does need that snack.  What’s a boy to do?  Decisions, Decisions!

When pugs get those eye boogers on their eye what is the best way to get them off?? Is there a secret? Do you let them sleep it off until they are on the eye lid? Is there a certain way to take care of this problem??

Jessica:
I usually just gently wipe away with my finger…(cause by the time I go for a tissue they have already wiped it on my carpet - leg - couch - visitor etc. LOL!)

Again, I say:  Deep wrinkles = deep thoughts!

Deep Thoughts by Pug Benny:

If you are walking next to a river of flowing lava and you drop your treat into the river, DO NOT attempt to pick it up.

Now who’s at the door?!?
