Chin Rest
She holds her own bones when she chews, but she isn't too proud to have someone prop up her head. She isn't too spoiled, is she?
Have a great weekend!

And I thought Meiling was the only pug who used my hand to prop up her head———
She likes to use my ankle too! They are so spoiled, but so cute!
Sweet little Luna….who wouldn’t feel honored to prop that beautiful mug up!!
All pugs’ chins are designed to be held or propped by someone they love. I’ve sometimes wondered if they aren’t inclined to do this for elevation purposes - to aid their short little noses in breathing - they snore so when their heads are tucked down - I’ve sometimes listened to Bella and thought: Breathing strips!!! But I’m always open to a chin snuggle w/her.
Huckle: Hoping that Gracie is doing better.
Things have been really crazy for me lately - at work and at home - so, while I “check in” with you-all at OBP, I’ve been remiss in commenting, but do have all of you in my thoughts.
Sue VDB: Hope that your elbow has mended and you’re getting along much better also.
AAWW pretty lil Miss…
Spoiled??? never, ever….
Mr. Skittles props his chin on my leg as well… I guess my leg makes a good chin rest!!
Happy weekend all!! Have fun and be safe. Remember to turn back your clocks saturday night, if you province or state does that!!
I just love, love, love this photo. Luna reminds me so much of my beloved Angel, that I lost this past June. It just makes me smile to see the antics of Luna and her brothers. xoxo Patty
Her eyelashes in this pic…priceless. Sleep well pretty girl. Lots of pampering is what you deserve!!!
Why, I don’t think any of our pugs are spoiled!! (wink, wink)
There is no such thing as too much spoiling!
Just precious.
Luna spoiled well I think all pugs should be spoiled my gang like to rest there heads on my leg or feet
Huckle how is Gracie doing Hope everyone has a great weekend
Sweet picture of Looney! I don’t think the pugs look at it as being spoiled. I think they believe they are conferring a great honor to “let” someone hold their head.
On this note, does anyone else experience this? A first time visitor to the home goes ga-ga over the love and attention from the pug. The visitor says, “your dog really, really likes me!!!” I just smile to myself because I know Bennie really, really would like Jack the Ripper if he came in the door!
This is one of my favorte types of pictures, and Luna you have it perfected pretty girl.
I totally agree with Martha’s comment about really, really liking Jack the Ripper if he came to the door.
Mary, my elbow is healing. It still has some soreness at times, but that’s to remind me to exercise my arm snd hand more.
Ahhh, Looney Tunes, you know exactly how to get the whole blog gasping with your cuteness. Gotta save this pic! Such great eyelashes and she seems to know just how to use them for maximum effect.
Mary C., the problem with breathing strips is that they have no nose to attach them to. Maybe their chins instead?
Mary and Sue (and all your others as well), thank you for thinking of Gracie. My problem with her today is that the pain meds have kicked in and the girl is fearless. Other than a playpen (which we don’t have), I don’t know how to keep her corralled. Every time she steps down on her foot, I cringe. Any ideas? The vet told me to cut her pain med in half for today and tomorrow in hopes that will slow her down enuf to keep her off of it. And Georgie who woke me up at 5a.m. was coughing and sort of reverse sneezing at the same time warrants another vet call. He seems fine now that the vet’s office is open, but I hate to hesitate calling him with the weekend coming up. Aughhhhg!
Somewhere in my delirious past, I wanted more of these guys! (Actually, I still do.)
Martha, Jack the Ripper - priceless.
Patty25, sorry about your Angel. That had to have been very hard and still is, I’m sure.
HUCKLE: I thought pain meds usually made one (animals & humans alike) sort of dopey/sleepy. Apparently not in Gracie’s case. If she persists in being really active and you’re concerned she might add to the injury - you might need to tuck her into her kennel - maybe w/a kong filled with peanut butter. If there are people around, she might get frustrated and annoyed with being cooped up - but desperate times = desperate means sometimes, I guess. I know Bella wouldn’t know what to think and would just howl and cry if I was at home - so not sure if this any solution for you either. You might just have to bundle her like a newborn and hold her in your lap and watch movies for the next few days.
I massage Bella’s throat and chest and around her sinuses when she starts snorting and coughing - but she has small fits or bursts of it and they seem to go away faster that way as I think it calms her also.
Lord, Huckle!! You do have your hands full - Am praying for a break for you and your babies.
So much for the Breathe-strips - but I was watching The Chew the other day and someone took tape and taped their nose up towards their forehead. Really funny effect - even changes your mouth/teeth image. Just found it amusing and figured it could make for some funny party tricks during the upcoming holidays. heh-heh
Today is Hellen Norton’s birthday. Happy Birthday. Have a great day, and hope you get lots of birthday kisses from Dakota.
Pugs are not spoiled, they are all just loved a lot.
Thanks, Huckle. Yes, she was my heart and I know I will miss her until the day we are together again. Take care and have a good weekend. Hope your puggers are doing ok. xoxo Patty

Luna spoiled? Never in a million years…*wink wink*
It is the mission of all pugs to have themselves so tightly wrapped around their mama’s (and papa’s) fingers, so as to be so firmly connected for even small tasks. Case in point, Luna’s head being connected to the hand that feeds her.
Lily was 11 months on thursday. I will try to post a recent picture one of these days. She is full of puppy rambunctiousness, and still hasn’t grown out of the chewing everything in site stage, much to my dismay!!!
