Oh, sorry, it wasn’t Martha’s caption on #247 it was Sue VDB’s!
Being a bit sleep deprived, I forgot to say that Georgie had a bad night. His honking woke me up about 3 a.m. and I petted him to settle him down and gave him some water and several hours later we both fell asleep. I have a call in for the vet as well as an appointment at 4:00 tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed that this is just a fluke.
Waiting for good news on Georgie. Does he usually do his “honking” at nite? Bella sometimes gets a little “sideways” with her breathing and will start to honk when we’re in bed. But I can usually get it stopped by rubbing her throat and sliding my finger over her nose. It feels like trying to stop someone’s hiccups and it doesn’t last more than a few seconds - but maybe this is a different kind of honk. Blessings on you, G. HUMMMM!!!! OK you can stay but ONLY for a little while….there is water over there and flowers for your breakfast….when it gets cool go back to your home!!!
Thanks Heather and Mary and all. Since he has started acupuncture, Georgie has not “honked” like this. He’s had some heavy breathing at times but that went away pretty quickly. The vet’s going to call tomorrow morning (out of office today) so we’ll know if we need to make that trip, plus, we will have another night to see if it reappears tonight.
Oh yes-that’s the spot-lick-lick, now a little to the right. Hoping Georgie had only a fluke-keeping you both in prayer. Pug hugs from pastor Sue & the Colorado 2
