Sue VDB - Hugs and prayers for Romeo and you. Hope all is well, waiting for your update. xo
OK OK, now throw it to me! My turn! MY TURN! I want the ball…....
Catch me if you can!
“Hey! If you wanna play, here I am!”
Sue VBD, I’ve got you and Romeo in my prayers. Please let us know how he is.
I may be repeating but my message just disappeared. “OK, OK, I ear you…now come and get it!
Oh Sue VDB, I missed yesterday and so didn’t see the comment about Romeo. Since we’ve been doing the vet thing, I was telling our vet about Romeo and his acupuncture and laser treatments as Abby was in for her newly developed arthritis problem. He was all for it and thought it sounded like a very good thing.
I’m so sorry Romeo has taken a turn but foul smelling breath due to an infected sore in his mouth sounds like something that could be managed. That poor little scamp sure has been put through the wringer. Here’s hoping for a quick solution. Prayers and pug hugs to that little guy. You know how interested in him we are.
That is my ball!!!!! Share or else!!
OK I do not know what else but it will not be good!!!
BALL NOW!!!!! OK?
I could not comment on the other picture. Was not authorized?
The news on Romeo is not good. A tumor has invaded his mouth and caused the “wet” breathing, and is behind his left eye, causing the bulging. This is what I suspected, and this thing is growing fast. A biopsy was performed to determin what type of tumor, and now is the 100 year wait to hear the results.
If it is Melanoma there is an injection that will shrink the tumor and give him some quality life. If it is something else, well…
I am hoping for the best, but trying to prepare myself for the worst.
Thank you all for your prayers, love, hugs, support. Please keep praying for both of us. If possible, I would like a little more time with him if it is quality. If the news is worse, please pray as I give him my last gift of peace.
Hugs from a very groggy Romeo and me. XXOO
Oh Sue! Oh my gosh. I pray that it is benign. I am never good at knowing what to say but I will be praying extra for Romeo and for you. Did they say when they should know? God Bless you my friend and please call me if you need to. Great big hugs coming your way. God Bless you honey and sweet Romeo too.
Sue VDB I am so sorry to hear this I am praying it is benign I couldnt post yesterday it kept comming up error so I didn’t see your post please know we are here for you and Romeo please give him a special hug for me
Have no clue when the results of Romeo’s biopsy will be in. When I picked him up this afternoon, the receptionist said they (lab)were picking it up later today. It can’t be soon enouugh for me, even if it is very bad news. I believe this “thing” is growing very rapidly and I need to know what to do asap. He is pretty doped up on pain, antiinflammatory and antibiotics right now. He did eagetly eat a light meal, and that is my baby boy. He is not giving up so I have to give him every chance as long as he can still breath and it is not affecying his quality of life, although at this point it already has.
The prayers, good thoughts, love and hugs from all of you mean the world to me at this time. I sincerely appreciate them, and am so thankful to Corrine for this wonderful website. I have seen it grow from blogging about Benny, Henry, Luna and Sol to a big family who can communicate with each other and understand the joys and sorrows of everyone. That is a precious gift Corrine.
Please keep them up so that thig “thing” doesn’t grow too big before the biopsy results are in. I want my baby boy to be as comfortable as possible.
XXOO
SUE VDB: Extra prayers for both Romeo and yourself. Any strengths and comfort that we (OBP) can provide are certainly here for you.
I am heartbroken that Romeo, and you, have to go through this awful time. You both are much on my mind and I can safely say on the rest of OBP as well. Since we can’t do anything other than pray, we pray.
Keep us up to the minute as this gets sorted out, and, like Gina, you have my number in case you need to or want to talk.
This is PUG turf, so you gotta play by Pug rules. And the only rule is…..... Pugs are the only winners!!! Now give me that ball or I will snore in your ear.
My prayers and thoughts are with Romeo…May God bless and keep him safe
Hey shortie, that’s my ball!!!

Let’s play ball. Hey, you don’t look like the other dogs I play with.
