Hey Sis, I’m doing this without thumbs…how great is that?  “Lovin’ You Lots & Lots” (a pug video to the song by Tom Hanks).

When I got my calendar last week I meant to ask y’all if Corrine had put a list of each pug’s name for that month?  She did last year but I never could get it to print out for me.  How about this year?

Gina, today Georgie is fine but not liking the medicine much even swaddled in braunschweiger or peanut butter.  The good thing is, he said, that he doesn’t have to have the cough syrup rammed down his throat for now.

Huckle ~ Sorry it’s so hard to give him his meds. You would think we could slip it past them right! I have to put Pip’s in some lunch meat! But I’m glad there is no more cough medicine. That couldn’t have been fun. Although if you have a syringe, you could shoot it into the pocket of their mouths and then they have to swallow it. smile Sneaky.

Gina, that is good to know. When you say pocket, do you mean at the end of his mouth where it curls? However, the second I get my hands near his face, he moves into overdrive thrusting his head from side to side even with two of us trying to hold him.

Kat - LOL

Huckle ~ Yes…sort of where their mouths close..kind of like to the back of the side of their bottom teeth. Does that make sense? And I know what you mean about them moving about! It takes three of us to cut his toe nails! smile

Thanks for the comments about his after pic. So cute! smile

So this is what they call the Rainbow Connection!

Lilo is great taking pills. Wrapped in a third of a cheese slice, she doesn’t even know it’s there!  I think we have kicked this UTI finally.  Just in time for my darling girl to declare “winter”.  Meaning, she will only go out once a day to do her business as it is very cold here now.  -13F last night.  She holds it.  She may only be 18 lbs but idc what anyone says, you cannot drag a pug anywhere it wants to go.  You can take them out, but you can’t make them pee.  Last night my brother got home before me.  He carried her down the block and made her walk back so she would go.  It’s going to be a long winter.  I just wish she would use the pads i leave for her when i’m gone to work.  Stubborn little thing.  Hopefully the new puppy will loosen her up a little bit lol.

Sue - that is one thing i have difficulty with is that rescues will only adopt within their own state.  Here in Canada some such as Manitoba Pug Rescue will foster and adopt into Saskatchewan, which i think is great.  As long as they have someone in the area that can do the home visit and give a yay or nay to it being the right place for the adoptee.

Hellen - Don’t lose heart, the right girl will come your way very soon.  I’ll keep praying that it will be so.

So thankful to have found you all here at OBP! You are a wonderful extended family of friends that I am grateful for every day.

Love for all and continued prayers for those in need!!
