I wanted to give you a up date on Abby she went in to see the specialist on monday and she does need surgery he said it should be done soon as Abby has lost a lot of muscle mass in her left leg so if I wait to have the surgery she will lose the use of her left rear leg the surgery is called a FHO she will go in next tuesday for the surgery and then a long road of recovery with physcial therapy I am hoping this will help her she has had to go through so much
Sue, thank you for the Abby update. So sorry to hear that Abby has to undergo surgery, but with love and therapy, she will be fine I am sure. Will you do the all the physical therapy yourself…a lot of work, but worth everything. Of course you know I will be sending prayers up to St. Francis. I have the date marked on my sticky note and will pray extra hard that day. Please continue with the updates. Hugs Sue VDB

Sue, much love and many prayers coming to us on Abby’s surgery. Know this is a stressful time for you and your babies. Henry looks like he just can’t keep his precious pug eyes open. Maybe he is waiting for the extra hour of sleep when daylight time savings is over.

sue - I’m sorry to hear that Abby will have surgery. Know that our prayers and wishes are with you and Abby. That will be hard to go through but a relief when this is behind you. Hugs, snorts and kisses.

Grannygoogs Abby had her surgery a couple weeks ago she just had her stitches out yesterday the vet is very pleased with her progress and so am I she is back to doing her puggy dance for me she still needs to build the muscle mass up in the leg she goes on a lot of walks every day the vet said this is the best thing plus I do therapy on the leg every day
So glad that Abbey is doing well and is out walking again. I hope her health continues to stay GREAT!
