Busted

Benjamin and Henry

The pugs are crated while we are away. When we get home, they are usually anxiously waiting at their crate doors to greet us. But, sometimes we are able to sneak in the house without them hearing us and we can catch them sleeping soundly. It is the sweetest thing to come in the house and hear all 3 of them snoring away. The pugs, on the other hand, don't like it when we make it back into the house without them knowing. Henry likes to pretend that he doesn't sleep while we are out. I'll keep these pictures around as proof that some little puggy sleeps quite soundly while we are out.

Love these pics. Bella isn’t crated and just snoozes in her bed. Most of the time she hears us and we hear her howling away but sometimes we catch her by surprise. Sweet puggers.

Heather, how are you doing today? Still thinking of you.

Oh Heather, you are so much in my thoughts and prayers.  I missed Friday’s blog so didn’t know.  Life can just suck it all out of you.  I thought perhaps it would have been the week before but Baxter just wanted a little more time with you.  The preciousness of our babies will never leave our hearts or minds but, darn it, it just plain hurts. And the decision is excruciating.  I will keep praying for you.  Bax sure has a lot of new friends he’d never met before to greet him with wagging tails and sloppy kisses.  But, of course, you’ll always be number one in the life he had.  Prayers and Hugs from the Swamp Pugs and me.

I currently have house guests who are staying with me until they can get back on their feet.  She has two big pugs.  The black one once in awhile is aggressive toward the fawn one in Mama’s presence, but when she is away they sleep peacefully side by side.

You must come in on stealthy little tippy-toes!  We never catch Bennie napping!

I love it that Henry pretends he doesn’t sleep while you’re gone!!

Thank you so much for all the thoughts and prayers. I’m struggling to accept this new reality.
Your sentiments are appreciated.
