Bookends
Well at least we know no one is going to sneak up on us from the north or the south.

“Halt! Who goes there?!!!”
. . . and where IS the Ben-meister, anyway?? Not like him to stay out the picture.
Henry & Luna are still on speaking terms, right? They look like they just had an argument and it ended in a huffy, “I’m done talking to you!” hahaha!
(I know…That is not the pug way. Just sayin’)
Although I think Luna is sitting ON the Mason-Dixon Line. Yeah, Eileen, that would have been hilarious to see Benny peeking over. The next photo will have to be a cameo appearance of Benny. It’s only fair.
Speaking of fair, the Abby Wars continue even though we’ve had Gracie and Georgie for three years. Abby refuses to be amused. Yesterday I was “furminating” Gracie who was on my lap. Once Abby saw that her sister was getting special attention, nothing would do but that she also jump onto my lap, push Gracie over and get “furminated” as well. Abby does not like to be groomed so it is obvious how much was on the line. To sweeten the pot, once Gracie had been gotten out of the way, Abby threw her head back on my chest and looked at me with her liquid brown eyes so full of love (and a little jealousy) begging me to “furminate” her. Georgie just looked at her and seemed to be thinking, “....ah, females!”
Perhaps Henry and Luna are at odds over the chair and bench cushions colors? If so, most likely Miss Luna will win as she is the Fashion-ista and Designer. We all saw the proof when she was weraing her leopard print dress! You can come and decorate for me anytime, Luna.
I love how puggers sit. So funny. And I love the lookout! And yeah! Where is Baby Benny?
Huckle~you crack me up but I can see sweet Abby sticking her nose in and pushing poor Gracie out of the way!
Have a great Monday everyone! Pug hugs to you all from Bella & me!
HUCKLE: I would love to see Miss Abby try and un-seat my little chubby-love, Bella! She’s as passive as they get, but try and budge her behind when she’s in a comfy-spot? She’s been known to gas anyone persistent enough to disturb her “nest”.
Since Bella doesn’t have anyONE to be jealous of - if she feels I’m paying too much attention to a book or the tv - she’ll go off and sulk beside “our” bed or in her kennel. But just let ME try and demand more attention from HER and she looks at me like I’m a total nuisance. There’s just no winning the battle of the pug.
I have to agree with crazy pug lady because it does look like they are at odds with each other and have turned away in disgust.
Huckle, once again you are very funny. Your household must be a series of never ending drama.
Annie and I went to a pug meetup yesterday and Annie charmed everyone she met. The highlight was a sweet little pug whose mama was wearing a below-the-calf lenght dress and where ever the mama walked, little miss followed her walking under her dress.
I saw them as bookends, too, but maybe that’s because I actually have pug bookends that have the pugs positioned just like Henry and Luna! (I keep all my pug books in between those bookends!)
And I love the pug-tales from everyone. Huckle, it seems that Abby has won the Abby Wars. She dominates and will never relent! But possibly Mary’s Bella has the weapon of size that Abby could not overcome!
Sue VBD, I love the image of that little pug walking along below her mama’s dress : ) That IS very sweet!
I would love to have a pair of book ends like these two sweeties
Oh My! Benny told us to sit like this and he would be right back with the treats we hid last night!
Do you think he is eating them and leaving us outside waiting? Good Be!
each keeping watch at least they have each others backs in case of sneak attack lol.

My 1st thought was too bad Benny was peaking over the back of the bench! That would have been too funny.
