Benny Update

I wanted to let everyone know that Benjamin is home and is doing very well. He was very excited to see us this morning and was bouncing around like his usual self. He certainly did not look like a pug that just had surgery the day before.

After we got home and Henry and Luna frantically smelled him for clues to see where he had been, Benny hopped up on the couch and took his usual spot on the pile of pillows. He is still there now, snoring away, getting some much needed rest.

So happy he’s home and doing well!

I’ve always thought that my dogs at home could detect the “vet” smell on whoever just returned, and then felt relief that it hadn’t been their turn to go.

I am glad Benny is okay! Now you can enjoy your weekend. My Lilly might need the nasal enlargement surgery but they don’t do it in the Yukon so we’d have to drive her out for it. I am hoping she’ll be okay (she’s four on the forth) but if Benny is that old and might have needed it I might start socking away some money now.

Soooo Happy to hear that Benny is doing well after his surgery.
Is it kind of like when you get your tonsils taken out - does Benny get to enjoy a diet of Frosty Paws for the next few days??

You go Benny. I’m so proud of you and would like to plant a kiss on that wrinkled face of yours. I didn’t see this update so I worried that you might be having complications. Thank God you are safe and sound. You are one tough little cookie and we all can breath a freeing sigh of happiness. I’m so glad for you Corrine and Henry has his back Benny back even if he smells a little different for now.
