Benny Boy

Benjamin

Right after I snapped this picture, I awoke Benny from his slumber when I planted a big kiss on his forehead. Luckily, he doesn't really mind. He is used to be being smothered with kisses. wink

Benny is just happy not to have to wear his cone of shame.

Have a wonderful weekend!

What a Wonderland of Wrinkles are you, Sir Ben!  A guy can’t get too many kisses, can he?  You are Simply Irresistable!!
Great weekend for everyone.  Sounds like Denver’s dumpage is heading to Iowa - so will have to get out Bella’s snow boots and my shovel.
Snowed in for the Super Bowl - sounds like a plan.

sue, so sorry to hear meds are not working.  I hope the nebulizer treatment works.  I lit a candle at Mass for your Cuddles and all the babies who are sick, injured, abused, neglected and lost.  Hope Cuddles gets much needed relief.

Pug hugs to all in OBPland.  I won’t watch Super Bowl, but hope you who do enjoy the game, and your team wins, even though they both can’t win and I know there will be fans for each team.

Even his back wrinkles.

Marynell, “curse of the kissable face.”  Perfect.

Cuddles has many pug hugs and love and prayers from all of OBPland going his way as we wait for updates on his condition.  Surely the vets can help ease his poor little body from the awful coughing.  Blessings on you little man.

Oh Sue…extra prayers for Cuddles now. And for you. I know it sounds scary but if you are comfortable with your vet, trust him or her. God Bless you and please keep us updated.

sue, I am so sorry to hear this about Cuddles, but I am with Gina, please follow your vet’s instructions.  It may not be comfortable for you, but it will be for Cuddles.  I have Cuddles on my prayer list, and the candle at church is still going.

Sue: I feel so bad about Cuddles and I am sorry for you. How old is Cuddles?
Quincy, my beloved black Pug now passed, was operated on for just this. It was a major operation but it helped him tremendously. He was 6 years old when he had the operation. He was in the intensive care unit for a few days.

Sue, did the vet mention surgery Gina is right, if you trust your vet then she will have Cuddles best interests in her heart and know what to do.

Many, many prayers for you and for Cuddles.

Huckle: I forgot to thank you for your suggestion about the noisey soda cans to keep Ruby Claire off the sofa. Although the cans work, the noise scared her so badly I felt like a bad Pug-mama. I rearranged all the furniture so the sofa is up against a wall and in a corner. A few less pillows around it now. Nothing we won’t do for our darlings.

sue, you are doing everything you can right now. Just keep him as comfortable as you can, and we are all praying and/or sending good thoughts for Cuddles.  You might ask your vet if anything else can be done for him.  I know it is stressful, but you do have to keep calm for him because they are smart and pick up on stress.  ((((((sue/Cuddles))))))

Sue,

Praying for Cuddles…at time it is hard to “relax” when our Pug babies aren’t feeling well but we do the best we can.  We all know our pugs so well that we know when they aren’t feeling up to par.  Love and prayers to you and Cuddles.

sue:  Hate to hear of the hard time your Cuddles (and you) have been having.  You definitely have all of our thoughts and prayers for him to get much better really soon.  It’s just terribly hard to have your little buddy upset and not feeling well - but you are doing everything recommended by your vet.  St. Francis:  Please stay extra close to Cuddles for comfort and to guide him safely to a good recovery.
