Another Note From Auntie M

The first thing I do when I get home from work is look at the "pet care update sheet" to read the blurbs about my children's day. I always get a kick out of reading the comments from the pet sitter of the day. On this day, in the comments about my day column, Auntie M wrote about Benny, "5 stars (actually 4 1/2 because he almost peed on Henry marking the fence!)" For Henry, she offered, "4 stars. Minus one because we all had to wait for him in the sun extra long for him to poop. LOL" And by now, we are sensing a pattern that little Luna is the favorite with this comment, "5 stars because she is a princess!" And even Cupid got a "5 star" rating. After all the commentary, Auntie M completed the update with, "Everyone is actually 5 stars today. I just like teasing the boys! grin"

The thing about Auntie M, that we appreciate more than words can say, is that she really loves our family. Beyond that she is trustworthy, dependable and "gets" us. She has helped our family get through this transition with relative ease. Granted, Henry had a little bit of a rocky couple of first days, but now things are in a super new routine and it really would not have been as easy without her help and support.

Auntie M is a little more lenient with her star ratings, too. If I busted Benny for almost peeing on Henry, no way would have earned 4 1/2 to 5 stars. That would have been a 3 star day maximum. Hahaha!

You found a true treasure in Auntie M.  She sounds like a fun lady with a good sense of humor and a love for the puggers and Cupid. What a blessing she is.  Please tell her thank you for me for being such a great person.

When I read about Henry having a little tough time adjusting to Mom not being at home, that was an aww moment.

Here’s to many more fun journal entries from Auntie M.

I agree wholeheartedly with everything Sue VDB wrote.  I love Auntie M more and more every time you share a snippet of her adventures with the gang.  Her notes in the daily log are absolutely priceless.

Please do thank her from all of us for taking such good care of the family we’ve all come to love and care about!!

And give Henry a little extra squeeze from me…awwww moment for sure!

I have a picture in my mind of Auntie M on the couch and all three of the pugs reclining/laying on her and using her as a pillow!  I think she is pug-whipped—just like the rest of us!!

You said it all when you said she “gets us”. Most people just don’t understand. I’m so glad everything is going so well.

Sleighbelle!  Pug-whipped!!! hahahahahahaha Maybe we should all get some matching t-shirts with that on it : )  I think pug-whipped should be added to our vocabulary list.

And I’m thrilled about Auntie M!  I’m sure Henry isn’t the only one who had an adjustment to make—Corrine, too!  And having things good at home has to make it easier for you, too.

Boy could we all use an Auntie M and a Grammy just in time.  I think you are sitting on a star.  What fun you must get with your daily reports and knowing the Pugs are being treated so well and somewhat way you treated them.  Love the reports.

Pug whipped - yes!

Who’s up for writing down all our pug words? I can’t remember them all but I’ll bet that one of us could?? smile

A few years ago, we had a day devoted to pug inspired vocabulary.  I loved reading, and re-reading them, so I saved the link.  Here it is, and there were some great contributions!!!
