While Luna was in charge of supervising present wrapping, Benjamin and Henry had the task of monitoring the tree trimming. They were only semi interested in the decorating part, but as soon as the tree was trimmed they wanted to know where their presents were. Patience pugs, patience.

We kicked butt with Christmas shopping last weekend which meant that this week was full of wrapping. And you know the pugs have to supervise. So, Luna, insisted I put her bed on the pool table I setup as my wrapping table. She made sure that no present went without a little bow or holiday cheer
Have a good weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope everyone has a fabulous turkey day! We at OBP have a lot to be thankful for and one of the things is all the wonderful people that visit Owned by Pugs each day. Thanks for letting us share our crazy pug stories with you and for sharing your pugs with us.

I love the holiday season, but things can get pretty stressful at times. And the pugs are not immune to the holiday stress. Just think about all the extra responsibilities the pugs have during the holiday season. There's all the extra tail wagging that needs to be done to greet all the holiday guests. Not to mention all the extra snacks that they need to plead for. And don't forget that they have to supervise the tree trimming and all the other holiday decorating.
Luckily, this isn't the pugs' first holiday season. So, they are very aware of all the extra work they have ahead of them. Therefore, they have been getting in some extra naps to make sure they are well rested and prepared for the holiday season.

Veterans were Sol's favorite type of people. It seems like every time we visited a park, Solsey found a veteran to sit with and coax into petting her.
So, be like Solsey today and hug a veteran.

The pugs don't mind getting dressed up for Halloween because they get to go Trick or Treating in the neighborhood.
Their first stop is always to see Grammy. Once they have finished eating all the snacks Grammy gives them, then they head to see Aunt Gaila.

Then they head to see their friends Ed & Iris

This year they even got to go see their friends Fran & Bruce.
Dress the pugs up in anything. They don't care. All they know is they get to go door to door and get lots of yummy treats.

Happy Halloween from the Scrabble Pugs! We love scrabble and play it regularly and since each one of the pugs' names are valid Scrabble words* we couldn't resist dressing the pugs up as Scrabble boards and adding their names as Scrabble letters.
So we pitched our idea to Grammy and she whipped up these awesome costumes for the pugs.
Happy Halloween!
* Benjamin is not a valid Scrabble word, but Benny is.
