The other day Henry wanted to get up on the big people bed even though it wasn't bedtime. (I guess he just wanted to be near his "people" because I was putzing around the bedroom---putting clean clothes away, placing shoes that had been left around the house back in their proper place, etc)
I noticed how the light from the lamp caught his "no eye" while making his eye seem very sparkly. He put on a puppy face that I have not seen in a while and I was fortunate to capture that moment in time. He has been a much happier boy since having his stinky eye removed. He's adjusting well and this really shows that he is just as handsome as ever.
Who needs a second eye anyway? Not Hank! He's a one eyed winky wonder.

The other day, I decided to take Henry outside and give him one more chance to potty before I left for work. It was a gorgeous morning and the sun was shining bright. I was feeling optimistic, when Henry quickly trotted down the driveway and started smelling the tree. Then he turned away and plopped right down in the sun. He had no intention of budging, until he got his morning dose of vitamin D.

As soon as the lawn mower stops, the pugs pitch a fit to be let outside to inspect the freshly cut grass. Once we finish with all the cleanup we let them out. With all the fuss they raised wanting to be let out, you'd think they would be happy to lay in the freshly cut grass, but most of the time they wander right out of our yard to our neighbors and hang out in their longer grass. Go figure! But, on this occasion, they all took a moment to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

The other day, as I was rushing around getting ready to leave for work, I ran into my office to get something I needed. Henry seeing me go into my office, thought I must be having a work from home day. He excitedly jumped up on his office "chair" and settled in for a day of work. I let him relax in the office for a bit and then I had to break the bad news to him. Fortunately, he took it all in stride.

The big pillow is the place to be in the morning. After the pugs eat their breakfast they settle in for their first morning nap. If you didn't know better you would think this was the only bed in the house!

This was the scene on our way to the vet the other day. I usually recline the passenger seat so Henry can easily get into the backseat if he wants to without any assistance from me. If he doesn't want to ride in the backseat, usually he curls up in the front seat. But, on this particular day, he decided he would just recline.
Once we arrived at the vet, we got the lingering stitch taken care of in record time and then we were back on our way home.

I worked a half a day from home recently and this was the scene in my office. All three were snoring at once. It was quite a productive afternoon for me!
