Sometimes the pugs amuse themselves in the silliest of ways. The other day I was cleaning out the trunk, and Benjamin, Henry and Luna were dancing around my feet acting like they wanted to get in the trunk. There was nothing the pugs would find interesting in the trunk, but they were adamant about getting in the trunk. So, I picked them up and put them in. They had a grand ole time, sniffing around and being nosey. Go figure!

When I am working in the kitchen, I always feel like I am moving the pugs because they are in my way. When dinner is being made the pugs are always sitting on the black rugs in the kitchen supervising me. When I need to get in the pantry one of them is usually on the rug in front of the pantry door. The same goes for the fridge or when I need to open the oven door.
After looking at this picture, I see that it's totally my own fault. The rugs are all in front of things that I need to use. I bet if I lined the rugs up down the center of the kitchen there would be no pugs in front of the things I needed to access. Silly me. Clearly, the pug are not going to lay on the, gasp, tile floor!

The pugs are crated while we are away. When we get home, they are usually anxiously waiting at their crate doors to greet us. But, sometimes we are able to sneak in the house without them hearing us and we can catch them sleeping soundly. It is the sweetest thing to come in the house and hear all 3 of them snoring away. The pugs, on the other hand, don't like it when we make it back into the house without them knowing. Henry likes to pretend that he doesn't sleep while we are out. I'll keep these pictures around as proof that some little puggy sleeps quite soundly while we are out.

Sometimes, I think Benny has gotten cuter with age. His face isn't as dark as it once was, but his wrinkles are as luscious as ever! When he was a puppy, I thought he might grow into his wrinkles a bit, but he never did.
It's funny because while Benny is very wrinkly, Henry and Luna have almost no face wrinkles. Between, the three pugs I would say we have an average number of pug wrinkles in the house, it just so happens that Benny wears them all.

I think someone is in the kitchen, what do you think?
Out of the three with their eyes glued on the kitchen, Henry is the only one that can still jump off the bed. Benjamin and Luna are both smart enough to know that they can't handle jumping off the bed anymore.
They both send out an alert when they want to get off the bed, but they do it in very different ways. Luna sounds out a series of very authoritative barks that sound like "Get", "Me", "NOW". Ben, on the other hand, sits near the edge and whimpers as only Baby Benny can do. Two very different, but both very effect techniques.

This was the sight early Saturday morning shortly after Benny had breakfast and went potty. Luna and Benjamin are notorious early risers for breakfast. Given the fact that there are no morning persons in this household, no one is every happy when either Benjamin or Luna start to whine for breakfast.
But, I can totally see why Luna and Benny don't mind getting up early for breakfast. They eat, the go potty and usually they are fast asleep within 20 minutes. I wouldn't mind getting up early either if I knew I was going to be able to go back to sleep about 20 minutes later.

To ensure the safety of puffy and to make sure that Benjamin has access to puffy while we are away, we keep puffy in Ben's crate. That's not to say he doesn't fish it out of the crate and take it to various parts of the house. However, whenever we see puffy laying about we toss it back in Benny's crate for safe keeping. This also helps Benny. Whenever he is looking for puffy, he checks his crate first.
Every night after Benny finished his dinner, he goes outside through the doggie doors, and goes potty. When he comes back into the house, he gets his puff and and brings it to us in the living room. At that moment he is so content. He has a full belly, an empty bladder and is ready to settle down for the night.
