As most of you may know, Grammy pug sits 4 days a week. She spends quality time with the pugs often. While she is here she also tends to some of the tasks that go unanswered by us on a regular but necessary basis, such as watering the plants, wiping down the area near the trash can and she even leaves behind a special gift here & there.
We have a guest room where the decor is a jungle theme. The comforter is a black & beige zebra stripe. The pillow shams are like a leopard print. There are jungle pictures on the wall. There is also an off-white leather chair in the room. Well, until recently, this chair had been pillowless. Since we keep the door to this room closed and do not regularly visit this room, this weekend when I had a reason to go in there, I discovered a zebra stripped pillow decorating the previously empty chair. So, I am not entirely sure when Grammy left this pillow behind, but it did not take Benny longer than a minute to own the pillow as his own. After that, the other 2 pugs came to join him.
So, we wanted to be sure to thank Grammy for being a wonderful pillow leprechaun leaving behind a great goodie loved by the pugs and of course matching the decor of the room. Grammy would not have it any other way.

Unlike la Luna, Benjamin attended finishing school. His posture is so good he can walk the house with his puff on his head.

Getting a head title out of Benny is almost too easy and it is a privilege that I abuse regularly. All you have to do is say a string of words that he knows. For example, for this shot, I asked "Benny, have you seen mommy? Did Grammy come to see you today? How about G-Ma? Is G-Ma going to come see you? Did you eat your lunch today? How about Henry? Where's Henry? Where's your sister? Looney?"
As you talk, you are sure to get the classic, left, right, little more to the right, back to the left pug head tilt.

I think Benny has been reading the blog and is a little jealous of all the love that Luna gets. I was trying to get a good shot of Luna and Benny kept walking into the background. He wasn't about to let Luna get all the limelight. He made sure to at least work his tush into the frame.

After Benny finishes a lap in the pool, he always hops out out and does a few extra land laps around the table. While it is usually very hot out, the pool cools him off enough to let him run wild. See Benny, the pool is good for something.

I haven't talked about Swim Camp much this year, but Swim Camp is well underway. The pugs have been getting some pool time in pretty much every weekend. Because of the heat, our walks have been short, hot and to the point.
This year's swim camp is highly specialized for each pug. Henry plays his normal game of fetch, which pretty much gets him a full lap in. Between laps, he hops out of the pool and takes a little break. Then he comes back to the pool step when he is ready to do another lap.
Benny, hates to swim in the middle of the pool. He likes to stay near the edge of the pool. So, Benny, swims around the edge of the pool with a human in tow.
Luna likes to be near people in the pool, so she swims from person to person. When she reaches a person, they scoop her up and hold her for a bit until she is ready to swim again. Then she heads on over to the next person.

Does anyone else feel like this on Monday mornings?
